The JV Scots fell too 0-2 in a hard battle against Utica on Tuesday. A slow start to the second half got the Scots behind and they couldn’t overcome the deficit. Ty Stiffler lead the Scots with 15 points, while Clay Schindley chipped in 7. The Scots hit the road again to play at Buckeye Valley on Saturday night.

Meet Recap

Highland Wrestling Placed 7th out of 15 teams last weekend, going 27 and 23 for the day. The team wrestled hard and battled every match. Bryce Schott was the 106 lb champion and Christian Miller was 138 lb runner-up. Other individuals winning their pools were Austin Kelley (160), Triston Hinkle (170). Finishing second in their pools were Gavin DeAngelo (126), Travis Mentzer (126), and Dillon Lehman (160). Placing 3rd in their pools were Drew Ward (145), Ryan Kelley (152), Hunter Fields (160), Jonathan Sparks (170), and Ian White (195).
