The Lady Scots went on the road at Marion Pleasant looking for their 4th straight win. It wouldn’t be easy. It would end up historic though. Pleasant dominated the first half in route to what seemed to be a commanding 3-0 lead at the half. However, all of that would change in the second half with 5 goals being scored by the Lady Scots. Emma Hinkle would get the comeback started with a goal in the first 10 minutes of the second half to cut the deficit to 3-1. The score would stay 3-1 until the Lady Scots would end the game with a 4 goal flurry in the final 22 minutes. Izzy Arnett Tomasek started the flurry with a shot from the 18 yd box that banged off a Pleasant defender to make it 3-2. Then 3 minutes later Emma Hinkle would score the equalizer to knot the game at 3-3. Next with 12 minutes left in the game, Highland would take the lead for good 4-3, then finish off and make the comeback complete with another goal to secure a 5-3 victory. The come from behind win from a 3 goal deficit was the largest comeback in Lady Scots program history. Once again, Emma Hinkle(the Endzone player of the week) led the Lady Scots with 3 goals. She also contributed an assist. Izzy Arnett Tomasek was magnificent again with a 2 goal, 2 assist performance. Freshman Amarie Morgan contributed with an assist as well. The Lady Scots improve their record to 6-3-1 on the season with a 4th straight victory. Their next contest is Wednesday as they look to make it 5 in a row when they host Mansfield St. Peters. Game time is 7pm.
