Highland had a great come from behind win tonight against the Clear Fork Colts. The Lady Colts came out strong with 8 runs in the first five innings and Highland scoring one run in the first inning, two more in the third, and another two runs in the fifth inning. Going into the sixth inning, Clear Fork scored two more runs to extend the lead to 10-5. This is where the Lady Scots kicked it into gear scoring five runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game at 10. Highland held Clear Fork to no additional runs in the seventh. The Lady Scots now had the opportunity to take the lead. With two outs Paige Hicks found a gap with a single. Savannah Fitzpatrick then walked with Audrey Robinson at the plate. With two outs and two runners on base, Robinson doubled to centerfield scoring Hicks to win the game!

Madison Peoples pitched 1.6 innings with Stevie Asher coming in to finish out the last 5.3 innings and Fitzpatrick behind the plate. Robinson had a pair of doubles, Adyson Landefeld had a double, Haven Farson went 3 for 4 with a double as well, and Fitzpatrick was 2 for 3 with a home run.

Highland hosts their first conference game Monday verse East Knox.
