The Lady Scots (21-1, D2 #5) won their home Sectional Final over Utica 3-0, Wednesday night.
In a match more competitive than the score indicated, the Scots accomplished a lot in the match and 14 different players got to play.

Statistical leaders:
Ashlynn Belcher had a triple double with 19 Assists, 13 Aces and 10 Digs. She also added 7 Kills.
Makenna Belcher – 10 Kills, 11 Digs and 3 aces
Kendall Stover – 14 Kills
Brylinn Tuggle – 14 Digs
Zoya Winkelfoos – 12 Assists

The Highland Volleyball Program continues to thrive all the way through. While the Varsity (21-1) won their 8th straight League Championship, the JV’s (18-3) finished 1st in the KMAC, the Freshmen (19-2) won the KMAC Championship Saturday, the 8th Grade (16-1) also won the KMAC Championship Saturday, and the 7th Grade fought to the end of the KMAC Championship last night, losing in 3 tight sets (20-25, 26-24, 22-25) to Fredericktown.
It’s a GREAT time to be a Volleyball Scot!

The Varsity will host Lakewood at 6:00 next Thursday (29th) in the District Semi-Final. The winner advances to the District Championship that Saturday (Halloween – 31st) at 2:30.
